IRMSA Technical Library Terms of Use

1. Introduction

Welcome to the Institute of Risk Management South Africa (hereafter, IRMSA) Technical Library. By accessing and using this service, you agree to comply with the following Terms of Use. Please read these terms carefully before subscribing or using any content.

• Subscription Levels

The IRMSA Technical Library offers two subscription levels:

• Subscriber: Full access to all content, including the Body of Knowledge, Community of Practice, and Other IRMSA Services.
• Free: Limited access to free content only.
• Content

The IRMSA Technical Library consists of the following:

• Body of Knowledge: Thought Leadership (Insights, Guidelines, Case Studies, Surveys), Toolkits, Blogs, Podcasts, and Archives.
• Community of Practice: Discussion Forums, List of Other Sources, The Resilient Mind – Book Shelf, and Mentorship.
• Other IRMSA Services.
• License and Permitted Use

IRMSA grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the IRMSA Technical Library content for your personal or internal business purposes. You may:

• View content online.
• Download content where a download option is explicitly provided.

You may not:

• Share your login credentials with others.
• Distribute, sell, or commercially exploit the content without explicit written permission from IRMSA.
• Modify, adapt, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from the content.
• Subscription Fees, Cancellation and Duration

All subscription fees for the IRMSA Technical Library are non-refundable. Access will only be granted upon receipt of full payment into the IRMSA bank account. The effective date of subscription is the date on which payment is received, and it is valid for 12 months.

• Registration Requirements

To access the IRMSA Technical Library, all users must complete a registration process, providing the following details:

Login Details:

• Username
• E-mail Address

Subscriber Details:

• Name
• Surname
• Job Title
• Company

Upon successful registration, a confirmation e-mail will be sent with your username and a unique password.

• Privacy Policy

IRMSA is committed to protecting your privacy. Personal information collected during registration is used solely for the purpose of managing your subscription and improving user experience. IRMSA does not sell, share, or distribute personal data to third parties without consent, except where required by law.

• Disclaimer

The content provided in the IRMSA Technical Library is for informational and educational purposes only. IRMSA does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or applicability of the content. IRMSA will not be liable for any consequences arising from the use of the content. Subscribers use the material at their own risk.

IRMSA is not responsible for any third-party content or linked sites that may appear on the site.
